Korben Funnies

* A few days ago, I asked Korben what he wanted for breakfast. He went to the pantry and grabbed the hot dog buns. I offered many other things, but he insisted on the "bread". I gave him a bun and he proceeded to take the biggest bite he could fit into his mouth. He chewed a little and then with a huge sigh exclaimed, "YUMMY!"

* Yesterday morning the breakfast weirdness continued when he brought me a box of macaroni and cheese and said, "cheese". I asked if he could wait for lunch and he gave me an emphatic, "no". So at 9 in the morning I made a box of Mac & Cheese which he devoured.

* Korben loves to turn our hamper on it's side so that the lid swings from the top like a door. He then plays inside of his "fort". Yesterday he accidentally took the lid off and couldn't get it back on. I came in to help him right as he threw the lid down and said, "stupid door".

So breakfast is a bust at my home and my almost 3 year old is saying stupid. It keeps me laughing at least. :)

Funny! Nathan wanted chicken nuggets for breakfast one morning . . . and he got them. He is such an infrequent eater that when he knows what he wants I pretty much give it to him.

Korben could say worse than stupid. At least he's talking :S

Kids can be so funny...my motto with Ayla is at least she is eating something...it can be tough when you have a picky eater.

Well, I like breakfast for dinner is very popular. Guess dinner for breakfast makes just as much sense.

I am sure that everything he learns (like stupid) is all from Mike. :)

It's so funny that he wanted Mac and Cheese. Brendan asked me this week for that and Jeremy asked for Ramen. I guess I'm the mean mom because I just couldn't do it.
The other funny part is that I actually made breakfast one day this week instead of letting them eat cold cereal and I had crying kids. I made French Toast, sausage and grapes and my kids were mad. So now I don't have to feel guilty that they are eating cold cereal all summer right.
