We spent our Fourth with Jake and Jess, Kathy and Jed, and John (a guy from work). We had a barbecue with way too much food, and then proceeded to spend 3 HOURS lighting fireworks. We all had some saved from last year plus all the new ones we bought this year. Mike also had some bottle rockets saved from before his mission (over ten years ago) so we decided it would be best to get that safety hazard out of the house. All of this made for a lot of fun, a lot of noise, and an awesome grand finally consisting of nearly 150 bottle rockets, some air effects, fountains, ground hoppers, and some serious sparks.

By the end of the night we were simply trying to use everything up...hence the casual stance and the sparkler

Geez, isn't half that stuff illegal? Maybe it's not, up in the Land of the Rain. (And even if it is, that never stopped you, right?)
Looks like fun! We missed you guys on the 4th. We had fun, but it's just not the same.

OMGOODNESS! It doesn't suprise me that Mike used a torch for the fireworks! TOO FUNNY! Looks like u all had a super fun time! :o) Everyone still has all their fingers right? ;o) jk
