We officially finished our yard about 2 weeks ago when John was here. He helped us add the swingset and sandbox as the finishing touches. I know some of you have been curious as to what it used to look like as opposed to what it looks like now, so I thought I'd post some pics for you.

I realize that to most of you our yard probably looks about the size of a postage stamp compared to your yards, but for us this new yard seems so much bigger and much more usable than the old yard. We (especially Korben) love it!

You guys have done an amazing job! The before shots look like they are for show and what you have done makes it look like it is meants for fun and family. I love the play area.
After the hours, and hours and hours we have spent just to get grass down, the size of your yard is very appealing. A bigger yard just means more watering, weeding, mowing, energy and time.
Your postage stamp of a yard is making me think of all the weeds we wouldn't have to pull, all the grass we wouldn't have to mow, all the water we wouldn't have to waste...

I love your yard! I am so in agreement with Kimber. I want your small yard that is perfectly suited to playing; with some grass and some playground rather than the huge mess of a yard that I just can't keep up with. Good job!
