Standing Up

Last week, Logan decided he wanted to pull himself up to things. His first attempts were next to the couch and he could get on his knees, but not quite to his feet.

This week, he is standing like a pro. He stands up to anything he can. Unfortunately, this means that instead of taking naps, he immediately rolls over and stands up in his crib...and doesn't know how to sit down. It usually takes a good screaming fit in order to get him tired enough to stay laying down.
He's so proud of himself when he stands up and is more than willing to give me the grins to show it. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

What?!?! He can't be old enough for standing! His grins show that he is so proud of it though.

I'm suddenly not looking forward to the "stand at the crib and cry because I can't get down" stage. I forgot about that one. I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes pictures of my kids crying. I don't mean for it to be cruel, just sometimes it is cute or funny.

Way to go Logan! Except for the whole "I'm standing and I can't get down" part.

Love the crying picture. I've seen that look on my boys' faces so many times. Good luck with nap time:)

He's getting so big! What a cutie!

He is so cute. What a beautiful smile and eyes and cheeks.

Even with the crying it is probably so worth the break the nap gives you. Hang in there.
