Answer: He lets them help make a volcano followed up by a ginormous fort.
Result: Shouts of excitement and lots of giggles followed by tears when it's time to clean up.

Agreed. Boys really do need their dads. And here I thought the game idea sounded great!
Dad's do seem to win on the "fun" scale. Probably because they don't mind making a mess to have fun.
