A few weeks ago we received a call from Mom & Dad Harrison. They felt strongly that each of their children should have a sewing machine and, get this, they were willing to get us one! They even did all of the footwork of trying out all kinds of machines and getting the scoop on the best ones in our price range. All I had to do was find a store nearby that sold the machine and wait for the check to arrive.
So first of all I want to say,
THANK YOU MOM & DAD!!!
Second of all I want to say,
I LOVE MY SEWING MACHINE!!!

It has only been one week since we set her up and already
I have no idea how I ever lived without such a blessed machine

Now, master seamstress extraordinaire I am not, but I am excited to be slowly working my way up the ranks. Next up on the agenda: pajama pants.

Okay, I've had a sewing machine for years and years, and in one short week you've done more (and better) than I have in all that time. Wow! That's great that they helped you get a machine, I didn't know they did that. Very cool.
Those pumpkins are the cutest things I've ever seen! Except my brother as a nerd, that might be cuter.
Wow! One week?!?! With talent like that you should have had a machine years ago!! You put me to shame
And what an amazing gift to give!
Can't wait to see the Halloween costumes with you guys in them.
Wow! you got a lot accomplished...and they all look so great...i wish i had more time to be crafty!
That's so funny because I told my mom the first thing I wanted to make was a table runner for the holidays :) We must think alike or something! I have pillow forms for pillows. Now I just need the material. I found the cutest material that had skull and crossbones and thought it would make a cute duvet cover for Gavin. It will be a Christmas surprise. Shhh... don't tell! I love all you have done! Awesome job! It is so much fun to think about all of the cute things to be made, huh.
AWSOME! I love seeing people get so excited about sewing as I do. The fun and projects are endless. Although you got me beat. I started with pajama pants. There ease.
That is wonderful. Everything looks amazing. I'm impressed. You must have had more lessons than I did growing up.
Good stuff to do when it's raining and you're stuck inside. Now I understand, even better, why your kids were watching TV---so you could finish projects. That's totally allowed.
I can't believe you did all that in one week! You are awesome. So cool that you got a sewing machine; you obviously will make good use of it.
