This morning, I gave Logan some of his favorite cereal and a juice box. I knew that I had about 10 minutes to check blogs and my e-mail before he was done. However, just a few minutes after I had settled into my morning dose of computer time, I heard some suspicious giggling coming from the kitchen. Suspicious, because if Logan is giggling it usually means he is up to no good...
I checked in to see what the giggling was all about, and sure enough, Logan was squeezing the juice box in one hand making a pretty fountain to the floor - and at the same time had his opposing pointer finger stuck far up into his nostril. The juice I wasn't surprised about...the fact that he was stuffing cereal up to the nether reaches of his nose did take me back a bit. Logan was apparently very satisfied with his success of the morning as the peals of laughter continued while I cleaned up the mess and took his finger out of his nose.
I'll spare you the picture of the chocolaty, soggy, rice mess that he sneezed out later (accompanied by more giggles), but here is a picture of the source of such laughter:

What a silly kid. Although I bet it wasn't that funny while you were cleaning up, for you anyway.
As a fellow mother I should NOT have been laughing quite so hard at this, and out loud even. What a knot head! And how good of you to see enough humor in it to blog about it.
You could do "Herdman" type book about that kid and he isn't even 2 yet! And I totally mean that as a compliment. We could combine John, Jeremy, Derek and Logan and have a real side-splitting piece of literature to hand down for generations.
What silly boys! Thanks for the movie you sent me, that was pretty cute.
That is hilarious. Boys can be so funny sometimes. And it's so hard not to smile even though sometimes you shouldn't.
that is priceless...boys are always so good at being up to know good aren't they?
What is it with kids and putting things where they don't belong?! Jadyn is MY TROUBLE-MAKER! She has no fear and more importantly, no common sense. Bad combo. Cute post though!
I cant totally picture it and I'm sure he had his usual grin. I think I will stick to fun at the park. There isnt a mess to clean there. Unless Jake is involved with a slide. Thanks for today it was fun.
Bwah! Hehehehe! Little goober. Sorry to laugh. Okay, not really. LOL!
Thank you Kate for sharing this funny story. I am glad that other mothers go through similar situations and it is always funny to read their versions. :) LOVE IT!
