So most of you know that Logan has some pretty nasty burns from the iron. It was a stupid accident where I didn't think and Korben pulled the iron cord and the rest, as they say, is history.
I have some pretty ugly pics of his burns, so if you don't want to see it, skip this post.
This is the last pic I have of Logan before the burns
This is his left hand - hard to wrap because it was on his fingers.
Right hand after 5 days - I know it's scary looking. :(
Logan doesn't seem to notice his burns though. He is still all smiles.
My friend Brenda brought this jumper over to help keep him from crawling.
THANKS BRENDA!
She also brought a walker for him. I love this picture because you can see his new top teeth really well. Check out that gap!
Playing peek-a-boo with Mom. He is getting used to working around the bandages.

It is so great to see his smiles! It looks like it hasn't slowed him down or made him less cheerful. He is such a cutie!
Seeing the jumper took me back many years to the jumper we had growing up. What a lifesaver to have something for him to play in without climbing all over, well, everything in his path. :)
The pictures are hard to look at and you both get all of my sympathies but it is also so wonderful to see his big smiles even with the bandages. Scars will never dull this kids personality - he is awesome!
I'm also impressed with the ingenius ways of keeping him from crawling, he looks like he managed to still have fun not being on the floor.
you're welcome! i am glad i had them for you to use. glad to see that it is working and that he is having fun in them. he looks like such a happy little guy. someday he will think his scars (if he has any) are cool and he can always make up new stories as to how he got them.
he is such a trooper both your boys are.
Does nothing get that boy down?! Wow, I am glad he is okay...how scary! When our kids bleed, we bleed (so to speak). I cannot imagine the heartache you felt when your baby was in pain. And I can only imagine what the doctor said :) Oh, the things our kids get into! Glad he is coping and that you have the jumper and walker to help distract him.
Nothing stops this little guys smiles. He is so adorable I just want to cover him with kisses. It is hard to believe he is still smiling through it all.
I love seeing that he has a gap in his teeth. Brendan has a huge gap too. At least they for sure get a Fullmer characteristic. Not sure it's the one we would pick but...
Kate I know you've probably been beating yourself up about the burns but just looking at Logan being so happy probably helps wipe those feelings away. And at least he's young enough he won't remember it.
I'm glad you have such good friends in Washington to help you out with the babysitting and sharing toys. I know that support is a great help in being happy and able to cope with all the stress in your life right now.
And thanks for sharing the pictures. It just makes your lives happening more real to me.
Oh, ow ow ow ow ow ! Poor little guy! Jonathan and Andrew both wanted to see the pictures, which they deemed "cute and sad". The burns look nasty, but there he is, with his arms bandaged and a huge grin on his face! What a resilient, happy kid he is.
I hope the healing goes forward quickly and completely. Give my nephew a gentle hug from his aunt!
