Saturday morning, Kathy called me and asked if I wanted to run the Starlight Fun Run (a 5K through the streets of Portland) with her that night. Normally I would be all for it, but I was a little nervous considering I hadn't worked out in nearly 2 weeks. I figured this opportunity would be as good as any to get me back on track.It wasn't just good exercise, but a lot of fun...hence the name "fun run". There is a costume contest and as it turned out, Kathy and I were the weirdos because we didn't dress up. There were so many neat costumes that I wish I had carried a camera with me for some fun photos. I took it way too seriously (I don't know what I was thinking since I knew it was called a fun run). I guess now I know for next year - I'm already planning my costume...

I keep thinking about how much fun we had with all the crazies running around us. Especially cow bell Will. I smile every time I think about it! Thanks for running with me!

Liar, you guys did dress up, as Two Hot Mamas. Great costumes! You're glowing and looking like you had so much fun. I personally think "fun run" is an oxymoron, but I'm glad you guys had a good time!

My shop did a "fun Run" on the 31st except is wasn't fun at all. It was actually a half marathon.
13.1 miles was not FUN at all!
